Shipping and delivery policy – Banketbakkerij Jullens

1. General
Banketbakkerij Jullens delivers orders within a regional delivery area around Delfzijl.
Whether delivery is available and which delivery charges apply depends on:
- the calculated distance to the delivery address;
- the order value;
- and, in a specific situation, whether volume discount applies to the order.
The Banketbakkerij Jullens delivery module automatically calculates whether delivery is available for the address entered and which delivery charges apply.
Our delivery module applies the rules described in this policy. The delivery option and delivery costs shown before you place your order finally apply to that order, except in the case of an obvious technical or input error that is corrected before the agreement is concluded.
2. Maximum delivery distance
Banketbakkerij Jullens delivers up to a maximum distance of 25 kilometres, based on the distance calculation in our delivery module.
Delivery is not available for distances of more than 25 kilometres.

3. Minimum order values by distance
At greater distances, a higher minimum order value applies before delivery becomes available.
The current thresholds are:
- more than 7.5 km: minimum order value €80;
- more than 15 km: minimum order value €100;
- more than 20 km: minimum order value €120;
- more than 25 km: delivery is not available.
If the order value is below the minimum required for the relevant distance, delivery will not be offered as an available option.
4. Delivery charges from 0 up to and including 5 kilometres
For a calculated distance from 0 up to and including 5 kilometres, the following delivery charges apply:
- order value of €80 or more: free delivery;
- order value below €80: €5.50 delivery charge.
5. Delivery charges above 5 kilometres
For distances of more than 5 kilometres, the standard distance charge is calculated as follows:
€5.50 base charge + €0.70 for each kilometre above the first 5 kilometres.
Our delivery module performs this calculation automatically.
6. Distance of more than 5 up to and including 7.5 kilometres
For delivery at a distance of more than 5 up to and including 7.5 kilometres, the standard distance charge always applies:
€5.50 + €0.70 per kilometre above the first 5 kilometres.
There is no automatic free-delivery option in this distance band based on a high order value.
This means that an order in this distance band is not automatically delivered free of charge even when the order value is €80 or more.
7. Distance of more than 7.5 up to and including 15 kilometres
For a distance of more than 7.5 up to and including 15 kilometres:
- the minimum order value is €80;
- the standard distance charge of €5.50 + €0.70 per kilometre above the first 5 kilometres then applies.
8. Distance of more than 15 up to and including 20 kilometres
For a distance of more than 15 up to and including 20 kilometres:
- the minimum order value is €100;
- the standard distance charge of €5.50 + €0.70 per kilometre above the first 5 kilometres normally applies.
For orders of €200 or more, the special arrangement in section 10 applies within this distance band.
9. Distance of more than 20 up to and including 25 kilometres
For a distance of more than 20 up to and including 25 kilometres:
- the minimum order value is €120;
- the standard distance charge of €5.50 + €0.70 per kilometre above the first 5 kilometres normally applies.
For orders of €200 or more, the special arrangement in section 10 also applies within this distance band.
10. Special arrangement above 15 kilometres for orders of €200 or more
A special delivery arrangement applies to orders that:
- are delivered at a distance of more than 15 kilometres; and
- have an order value of at least €200.
Without volume discount
If no volume discount is applied to the order, the order is delivered free of charge.
With volume discount
If the order contains products to which volume discount is applied, the delivery charge is 50% of the standard distance charge.
The standard distance charge is:
€5.50 + €0.70 per kilometre above the first 5 kilometres.
Our delivery module calculates this reduction in delivery charges automatically.
11. Summary of the delivery arrangement
0-5 km
- below €80: €5.50;
- from €80: free.
More than 5-7.5 km
- always €5.50 + €0.70/km above 5 km;
- no automatic free delivery based on order value.
More than 7.5-15 km
- minimum order value €80;
- €5.50 + €0.70/km above 5 km.
More than 15-20 km
- minimum order value €100;
- normally €5.50 + €0.70/km above 5 km;
- from €200: special arrangement in section 10.
More than 20-25 km
- minimum order value €120;
- normally €5.50 + €0.70/km above 5 km;
- from €200: special arrangement in section 10.
More than 25 km
- delivery not available.
12. Calculation by our delivery module
The exact delivery availability and delivery charges are calculated automatically by the Banketbakkerij Jullens delivery module based on the information entered by the customer during the ordering process.
Before the order is finally confirmed, the selected delivery method and the calculated delivery charges are shown in the order summary.
This allows the customer to see the delivery charges applicable to the order before finally placing it.
13. Delivery address and no one present
The customer is responsible for entering the delivery address correctly and must ensure that the order can be received at the agreed delivery address.
The delivery address is shown in the order summary before final confirmation so that the customer can check the details once more.
If no one is present at the first delivery attempt, Banketbakkerij Jullens will, where practically possible, attempt delivery once more at the same address later.
If no one is present at the second delivery attempt either, we leave a notice stating the times at which we attempted to deliver the order. The order will not be offered for delivery again and will be returned to Banketbakkerij Jullens.

If Banketbakkerij Jullens has offered the order twice on the agreed delivery day at the address provided by the customer and delivery was impossible on both occasions because no one was present to receive the order, this does not in itself entitle the customer to a refund of the order.
The order remains available for collection by the customer from Banketbakkerij Jullens.
This provision does not limit any statutory rights of the customer where, for example, the product is defective, Banketbakkerij Jullens is at fault, or another statutory right to a refund applies.
Our Terms of Service apply to the other arrangements relating to delivery.
14. Collection
If delivery is not available or if the customer chooses collection, the order can be collected from:

Collection is available during the applicable opening hours and in accordance with the selected collection date and the other arrangements made for the order.
15. Changes to delivery charges and delivery area
Banketbakkerij Jullens may change the delivery charges, minimum order values and delivery area in the future.
For an order already placed, the delivery charges and conditions shown and agreed during placement and confirmation of that order apply.
If we change our delivery arrangement, the calculation in our delivery module and this shipping and delivery policy will be aligned with one another.
